I’ve tried in the past to put the principles of the 12 steps to work in my life before but I’ve always gotten stuck. Sometimes the faith thing gets me, sometimes the inventory seems overwhelming. Overcoming the Nevers puts the tools of the twelve steps into the hands of the every day person. I don’t have to be an addict to really use these great tools and get more out of my life. Putting some of the tools to work right away have changed me today(gratefulness, and prayer) and I look forward to the changes that I hope to see in the future (willingness, and a clean slate). — Cathy T.
