We can be our own worst enemy, agree?
Do you ever HEAR yourself saying things like this about yourself:
» I’m SO stupid!
» I’m such an idiot.
» I could never accomplish that, I’m not good enough.
» Shoot. I made a mistake…I’m such a failure!
» It doesn’t matter what I think.
» There’s something wrong with me.
» I’m SO fat!
…do you ever THINK thoughts like this about yourself?
May I suggest that a lot of what you think and say about YOU is a lie?
I have many conversations every week with a variety of people, mostly women, and what I often hear is non-sense! I hear people rip themselves apart AND lie about who/what they are!
What words do you speak or thoughts do you think about YOU?
Is it truth? or lies? It’s important to know the difference and to…
STOP lying to yourself!
When we lie to ourselves and believe it — WE. GET. STUCK.
We have a hard time seeing solutions and rising above our circumstances. We self-sabotage. Our relationships aren’t as fruitful and can be destructive. Lies prevent us from learning + growing + becoming the best version of who we are.
The truth sets us FREE!
Take a little inventory of your thoughts and words…be mindful of how you’re treating yourself. THEN…ask yourself this question: Would I tell my daughter/son/niece/etc. those same things if they were walking in my shoes?
Just something to think about…
