It’s either take captive every thought or be taken captive by it.
These are our options. This is the conclusion I’ve reached thus far, friends. Our minds, they’re important. We live with working minds that take in and put out all the time. Are we stuck in slavery to our thoughts, or are our thoughts adding good to ourselves and the world around us? God knows, this is where everything starts.
I’ve seen God do miracles and transform lives from the inside out. I know because I’m one of them.
Thoughts don’t have power over me any longer because I believe my God is greater. I used to be scared to speak, make friends, or try anything new. I feared failure and unloved thoughts would become real. He’s changed me from the inside out and still is.
Miracles every day still in modern days are happening now.
When minds change, life changes.
So, here we go friends. Jumping into life that’s deep, real, and sometimes raw. Here we come asking the hard questions in the privacy of our minds and in the times when we can say “yes,” to sharing this journey together. And live out what we learn. We’re made by a Creator to praise Him. We release all thoughts to Him now in whatever capacity we’re capable. And in these moments we see more of who we are right here, right now.
We are His. His daughters, His sons, if we say, “yes” to His thoughts.
Our thoughts start traveling down a new path. This path is walking the promise of eternal life and a full life offered here today. He replaces old ways of thinking by capturing new ways of seeing people, places, and things. And changing our own minds so personally.
So, we turn our thoughts to Him and who we are with Him.
Do you need to surrender and recapture God’s good thoughts today, friends?
“We break down every thought and proud thing that puts itself up against the wisdom of God. We take hold of every thought and make it obey Christ”. 2 Corinthians 10:5 NLV
