One of my favorite quotes about today’s virtue is:
“What makes humility so desirable is the marvelous thing it does to us; it creates in us a capacity for the closest possible intimacy with God” - Monica Baldwin
Understanding who we are and who we are not is important. Accepting our place in this world and acknowledging that we are a child of God, along with every other human being who walks this earth is powerful. Embracing that our significance comes from God and God alone offers a sweet connectedness with our creator.
I truly believe that I am nothing without Him and everything because of Him.
He has restored me from my fallen place. He gives me the strength to persevere every day…
…He is my confidence.
We all know what humility is NOT –> arrogance, egoism, pretentiousness, pride, self-importance.
Humility makes us real.
Humility is pride IN GOD.
With humility comes wisdom.
“to slander no one, to be peaceable and considerate, and always to be gentle toward everyone.” Titus 3:2
I pray, “God, please cultivate in my children the ability to show true humility toward all. And Father, may my life message be that of humility, may I be a strong example for my children.”
