Do you know your breasts?

My husband called me last week to inform me that one of our very good friends has been diagnosed with breast cancer. She is my age, also a nurse (ironically, she works in a breast cancer center), and is also the mother to 2 beautiful children. She is one of the kindest, most beautiful woman

Daily KIP: Timing. Do you ever feel that God is on a coffee break or something because He isn’t seeing the urgency in “your” situation? Don’t forget that we see only a fraction of any situation. Most often “our” timing reflects impatience and/or selfish motive.

Daily KIP: Be an example to those around you. Your children, neighbors, colleagues. The choices you make. The life style you live. How you demonstrate your love. “A good example has twice the value of good advise.” Unknown Author

Daily KIP: It can be very difficult to watch others whom we love and care about go through painful experiences. Our initial reaction can often be to want to “jump right in” and help or figure out how WE can fix it. Are you placing yourself in someone’s “experience”, where maybe you really don’t belong?

Daily KIP: Learning to pay attention. We can look EVERYWHERE for answers and completely miss them. Paying attention to people, situations, quiet moments, creation, and other aspects in life could be just what we are looking for. God speaks to us in MANY ways……..are you paying attention?

Does it put a smile on His face?

I learn so much from my boys.  Being a mother has taught me so much about life and even more about myself.  Here’s a little glimpse into some things that I’m learning:  How to be more patient, I’m not the only one that can do it, I need to be patient as others are learning.

Daily KIP: Inventory. Who’s are you taking? If something is bothering you, consider this……there is probably something about yourself that needs attention.

Daily KIP: Love the unlovable. Instead of making judgements on another person’s life, or exposing their faults to others (gossip!) choose to come beside them and see them for the beautiful man/woman they are. NONE of us are perfect. “Pride goes before a fall, and humility precedes honor.” Susie Larson

Daily KIP: So often we get caught up in the petty things……..let them go, focus on what really matters to you in life.

Daily KIP: Kill others with kindness………be enormously kind to everyone.
